Gina Carano shared video footage with her trainer just hours after it was reported that Ronda Roussy is in discussions for a controversial combat sports comeback.
The news that Ronda was in talks to face Katie Taylor in an epic boxing fight broke out on Monday. UFC supporters have been calling her back to the sport since years.
Just the matter of hours later, fellow women’s MMA legend Gina Carano coincidentally posted a video on her social media of her back in the gym training with her coach.
‘Conviction’ Carano last fought inside the cage in 2009 when she took on Cris Cyborg for the Strikeforce featherweight title, subsequently losing by first round knockout which marked the end of her fighting career, but the beginning of her extremely fruitful acting career.

Is Carano’s training return just coincidental?
Carano was never able to fight in the UFC, despite many years of talks and negotiations with the promotion. After losing to Cyborg in 2009. Carano turned to acting.
However, fans believe that Carano returning to training can’t just be ‘coincidental’ considering Rousey is also in talks for a return to combat sports.
