He graduated in 2018 from the University of Huddersfield after completing a course on Sports Journalism. Eight months later, he started at Snack as a member of the writing staff. He is a big Arsenal fan but has also covered clubs like Leeds United, Celtic, Sunderland and many more. His football knowledge spans a wide range. Matt became the chief editor at FFC in late 2020 after serving as an assistant editor.
His experience counts work at the Press Association, where he was featured on Sky Sports & The Daily Mail. Prior to joining Snack, he worked as the Arsenal editor for VAVEL and then the Premier League editor. Matt also brings club media experience, as he worked with Chesterfield FC in the 2017/18 campaign.
He is also a fan of broadcast media. His voice has been heard on Love Sport Radio Arsenal Fan TV as well as various football podcasts.
