Real American Freestyle, the first unscripted professional wrestling league, held its third event on November 29, in Chicago.
Chad Mendes (former UFC superstar) was a much better wrestler when he was in college.
Michael Chandler, despite his speed, size and power, was able beat him easily in the main fight.
‘Iron Mike’ won 4-1 before issuing a callout to Olympic gold medalist wrestler Jordan Burroughs.
“I’d like to say since 2009, there was a guy out there from the Midwest in the Big 12, who beat me a couple of times, that I haven’t been able to get him off my mind,” Chandler said post-fight.
“Jordan Burroughs, this ain’t 2009! I’m bigger, I’m faster, I’m stronger, I’m more dangerous!
“Jump in the RAF ring with me, if you dare.”
