Before UFC 324 was announced, a heavyweight already had his sights set on history.
Dana White revealed which fighters will be tasked with kicking off the promotion’s new Paramount+ era on Thursday, as he announced the main events for both UFC 324 and UFC 325.
The first of these numbered events will take place in Las Vegas on January 24, where Paddy Pimblett vs Justin Gaethje, a controversial interim championship fight, will be the main event.
There are some logical matches on the line-up, even though that fight has been criticized heavily, and Arman Tsarukyan, the man who was snubbed, insists it doesn’t make sense. There is a heavyweight bout between Derrick Lewis, a knockout artist, and Waldo Cortes Acosta.
‘Salsa Boy’ has been on a charge in 2025. His next mission is high-profile, but the timeline has shattered his dreams of making history.
