Paul is considered to be the most prominent name in the current crossover boxing trend. He has starred at a number events that are highly watched.
For Tyson’s comeback, Paul unsurprisingly had to settle for the co-main event spot, but he still made the most of the eyeballs that were on the undercard.
Paul knocked Robinson out in round two. This was the first time combat sports fans had seen his true power and potential.
The results did not convince traditionalists in boxing that YouTube or celebrity-style boxing was more than a joke. Tyson, however, believed the sport actually needed fighters like Paul to combat the UFC’s rise.
