A recent update shows that the fallout from an ugly scene which occurred at UFC 322 in this month’s first half is still going on.
In the main event on November 22, Islam Makhachev defeated Jack Della Maddalena to record a historic victory for his team at the world’s most famous arena.
However, supporting the former lightweight champion wasn’t the only thing that the Russian’s travelling group of friends got up to while attending Madison Square Garden.
Dillon Danis got involved in an enormous brawl which broke out at the arena. People were escorted from the building.
While Dana White said that the UFC wouldn’t be pressing charges, the current mayor of New York City isn’t going to let this incident pass by without further repercussions.

NYC mayor updates investigation into UFC 322 brawl
Dana White has banned Dillon Danis, who was involved in a brawl at the UFC 322 Post-Fight Press Conference, from attending future UFC events.
Magomed Zaynukov, who has quickly become a fan favorite due to being labelled ‘John Pork’ was one of the several individuals who was clearly seen lashing out at Danis in the footage.
Zaynukov doesn’t regret his decision and believes that if anything, the controversial former Bellator fighter got off lightly after some of the things he has said.

The 30-year-old who won a UFC contract in Oct could see his career negatively impacted, especially if he is unable to travel to the United States.
New York is the current New York City Eric Adams posted the message below on X, along with video footage of the fight.
“These assaults at Madison Square Garden are completely unacceptable,”Adams wrote. “The NYPD is already conducting a full investigation, and everyone responsible will be held accountable.”
