Conor McGregor is back on social media and has a great story to share about his time away.
The UFC legend announced to fans at the beginning of last month that he was taking a break and would return at a later date. He deleted his Instagram page and returned to X in order to inform fans.

Conor McGregor posts a series of lengthy social media posts to explain his absence.
After almost two months of radio silence, save for a press conference at BKFC Rome where he claimed to have undergone a ‘spiritual journey’, Conor McGregor returned to social media this evening. Instead of criticizing Islam Makhachev, or any other activities that might be considered offensive, McGregor gave a long explanation for his absence.
“Hey guys, I am back,”In the first of several messages, he wrote. “I was blessed to meet the most forward thinking doctors from Stanford University and undergo a series of treatments to address trauma.
“I travelled to Tijuana Mexico and underwent Ibogaine treatment at AMBIO. Watch the Netflix documentary just released titled ‘In Waves and War’ as it is the exact place I went. It was amazing, intense and completely eye opening.
“I was shown what would have been my death. The time frame and the impact on my children. As it happened, I looked down at myself and then out of the coffin.
