Anthony Joshua was instrumental in defeating Paul.
‘AJ’ is less than a month away from his return to the boxing ring, having not competed since a crushing loss at Wembley Stadium over 14 months ago.
Joshua, who was knocked out in a brutal fight by Daniel Dubois two years ago, has now taken on a different kind of match.
Joshua replaces Gervonta Davies after allegations of domestic abuse led to his removal from a Netflix event. He will fight Jake Paul on December 19, in Miami, in the main bout.
The bout will be a controversial one, given how polarizing Paul’s career in the ring has been since he transitioned from the YouTube scene. But it won’t be Joshua’s first time getting involved in the crossover boxing world.

Anthony Joshua gives advice to KSI about preparing for the fight with Logan Paul
Jake is widely considered to be one of the names that started the trend for celebrity boxing and YouTube. Among them were his brother Logan Paul and his arch rival, KSI.
Although a much-discussed grudge fight between Jake, KSI and Logan has never taken place, the British YouTube and rap singer has been in the ring on two separate occasions.
After a majority tie in their amateur bout in 2018, KSI defeated Logan in a pro bout the following. And when it came to preparing himself to get the better of ‘Maverick’, the Londoner had a helping hand from Joshua.
“(Joshua) has just told me to train hard, remain focused and be calm,” KSI told Behind the Gloves regarding a training session with ‘AJ’ ahead of his rematch with the American.
“Be calm and relaxed in the gym. “I was relaxed when I trained out there in public.
“Obviously there was shouting and this and that, but I was calm. Calm and collected,”He continued.
“I know what I need to do. I’m in full zen, I’m ready.”
