The Wolverines will host Ohio State, which is ranked first. Michigan (9-2, 7-1 Big Ten, No. 18 CFP) played without Justice Haynes and Jordan Marshall due to injury, but they still dominated on the ground. Michigan also finished with their highest scoring output this season. Maryland (4-7-1, 1-7) managed to score on its first drive of the game but still lost their seventh consecutive match. Underwood had 215 yards of passing and two touchdowns while Washington had 210 yard and a score with an interception. With the score at 7, Underwood’s throw should have been intercepted but Lavain scruggs couldn’t keep the ball. Kuzdzal’s 2-yard touchdown run gave the Wolverines the lead. Underwood made a 22-yard touchdown pass to Donaven mcculley after Mason Curtis’ interception gave Michigan a short field. Kuzdzal also added touchdown runs in the third and fourth quarters, while Jasper Parker made a 6-yarder for a 42-13 score. Underwood will be confident going into the Ohio State game. However, injuries in the backfield are a major concern. Max Bredeson was also on crutches during the second half of Saturday’s game. In addition to Haynes, Marshall and Underwood, Michigan will have to deal with fullback Max Bredeson. Sign up for a FOX Sports account or login to get a daily newsletter.
