City Kickboxing have their focus on Dan Hooker’s UFC Qatar main event.
‘The Hangman’ is currently in the Middle East to headline the very first UFC event in Qatar, where Doha will play host to a number of intriguing battles inside the Octagon.
Chief among them are the two bouts at the top of the card, as Ian Machado Garry’s welterweight clash with Belal Muhammad sets the stage for Arman Tsarukyan’s main event against Hooker.
Tsarukyan’s headbutt of Hooker at their final match drew harsh criticism from the Armenian for his behavior during the ceremonial weight-ins.

Dan Hooker says Israel Adesanya is still the UFC’s best fighter
Ahead of his first fight since UFC 305 in August 2024, where Hooker beat Mateuz Gamrot to continue his career resurgence, the fan-favorite brawler participated in a segment called ‘The Best’ with TNT Sports.
Hooker chose his top choice in a variety of categories. These included who was the lightweight GOAT and who should be watched, as well as who held the trash-talking title.
It was the Kiwi star’s answer to who is the best fighter in the UFC today that drew the most attention, as Hooker chose his teammate, former two-time middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
‘The Last Stylebender’ is winless since knocking out Alex Pereira in April 2023 and has lost his last three fights, most recently via knockout against Nassourdine Imavov.
