One of the fighters who is set to headline UFC Qatar this weekend, Arman Tsarukyan, recently claimed that he makes a loss when he fights if he doesn’t get his win bonus.
The lightweight competitor revealed that his base salary of $150,000 was gone after he paid taxes and covered training camp costs.
Dana White stated that UFC fighter pay will increase as a result of the promotion’s $7.7 billion broadcast deal with Paramount+ that begins in 2026.
Unfortunately, many of the fighters whose careers helped shape the sport today did not live long enough to reap the rewards.
