Kamaru Usman has defended his longtime friend and former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou after Dana White’s recent accusations.
Francis Ngannou’s shocking departure from the UFC and loss of his heavyweight title in 2023 sent shockwaves through the MMA community.
Since then, it has become abhorrently clear that Ngannou’s relationship with UFC boss Dana White was as toxic as it gets, and the two have continued feuding in the years removed from ‘The Predator’s’ exit.
To this day, White still accuses the African fighter of being the reason why a fight against Jon Jones didn’t happen, stating that Ngannou demanded an ‘absurd’ amount of money.
