Dana White labelled a clash between two legends as “one of the top three best fights ever in MMA.”
Since it was first introduced in 2013, ten fights have been inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
The first bout to be inducted was unsurprisingly The Ultimate Fighter finale clash between Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonner which was a crucial part of the promotion’s success.
Earlier this year, Israel Adesanya’s back-and-forth war with Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 236 became the latest fight to earn this honor.
However, there’s another instantly iconic contest that the UFC president compared to one of the most famous fights of all time, Muhammad Ali’s trilogy with Joe Frazier, also known as the ‘Thrilla in Manila’.
