Jack Della Maddalena’s team has been asked to apologize after their comments made before the fight against Islam Makhachev, in UFC 322’s main event.
In the UFC 322 Main Event, Jack Della Maddalena was defeated by Islam Makhachev in all five rounds.
The dominant Russian brought the Australian’s title reign to an immediate end after he won the strap earlier this year against Belal Muhammad at UFC 315.
Ahead of their fight, Della Maddalena’s grappling coach Craig Jones ripped combat sambo, claiming that the martial art derived from Judokas trying to take each other’s pants off.
Della Maddalena is unfortunate because he was a bystander in this situation. And after a performance that was so disappointing, he, along with his team, were told to apologize for Fedor Emelienko’s comments.
