The end could be nigh for one of boxing’s heavyweight greats.
Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul will fight in a professional heavyweight bout on December 19th in Miami.
The controversial contest has come about on short notice after Paul’s planned Netflix fight against Gervonta Davis collapsed. The bout was called off after new allegations of domestic violence were made against WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis.
Paul now has a much different challenge awaiting him in ‘The Magic City’, as he gears up to share the ring with a former two-time unified world heavyweight champion and one of the sport’s hardest hitters.
Plenty of the Cleveland native’s haters are hoping to see Joshua knock him out of the sport in emphatic fashion. But if some past comments from the Brit are anything to go by, fans could also be saying farewell to ‘AJ’.
