The NBA fined Dillon Brooks $25,000 after he made a “lewd” gesture during the Suns’ 133-98 win against the Indiana Pacers. Brooks had been on a hot streak, having scored at least 16 in three consecutive games since his return to the game following a groin injury. Embiid is not the first player to receive fines after using the same celebration. WWE stars Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and others supported him on social media after he received a fine of $25,000 in 2021 for the use of this gesture.
