Pete Prisco’s Week 11 NFL picks, predictions: Seahawks upset Rams; Chiefs down Broncos

My picks seem to be in a slump. What happened to my good Week 11? After a terrible Week 10, I had a so-so week 11. When will it happen again? It seems like it was a while ago since I had a good week. Last week, I went 8-6 straight-up and 7-7 against the spread. Although I’ll admit I’ve had some tough losses ATS, that isn’t an excuse. I must be better. My season record is now 100-49-1 in straight bets, and 75 – 74 in ATS. I am still over.500 but would love some breathing space. I will get it this coming week. I can feel it. I can sense it. Bet NFL Week 11 and NFL odds with DraftKings. New users who win $5 in bets get $300 bonus bets plus three months free of NBA League Pass. Thursday, 8:15 pm. ET on Prime VideoThe Jets and Patriots both have two wins in a row. The Patriots won seven straight. Drake Maye and the Patriots offense have been the focus of much media attention. However, the Patriots defense should be given more credit for its performance. This is important against a Jets offense that has been mediocre. Pats are going to keep rolling. Pick: Patriots 30, Jets 10 | Odds via DraftKings SportsbookSunday, 9:30 a.m. ET on NFLN (Stream: Fubo — try for free)The Commanders will once again start Marcus Mariota at quarterback for the injured Jayden Daniels. The defense is the biggest problem. They do not rush the passer, nor do they tackle. Miami’s offense was very good against the Bills in Week 1 and I think that will continue this week. De’Von Achane is expected to have a great day. Pick: Dolphins 31, Commanders 21 | Odds via DraftKings SportsbookSunday, 1 p.m. ET on Fox (Stream: Fubo — try for free)These two have had weird, inconsistent seasons, but this is basically a game to help keep their playoff chances alive. It will be difficult for the Panthers to throw the ball, as they have a problem with it. Bryce Young needs to be more, but I do not think he will deliver. Falcons take it. Pick: Falcons 24, Panthers 17 | Odds via Caesars SportsbookSunday, 1 p.m. ET on Fox (Stream: Fubo — try for free)The Vikings need to get their offense going with J.J. McCarthy in this one. The Bears, who are 6-3, have been playing well on offense but their defense is prone to leaks. I think that the Vikings pass rush and blitzes are going to force Caleb Williams to make a mistake. Vikings win. Pick: Vikings 27, Bears 20 | Odds via BetMGMSunday, 1 p.m. ET on CBS (Stream on Paramount+)The Bengals are off a bye, while the Steelers are coming off a road loss Sunday night to the Chargers. Pittsburgh’s offense didn’t do much in the game. But the Bengals defensive unit is just what the doctor ordered to get it back on track. Bengals score, too, but not enough. The Steelers win in a high scoring game.  Pick: Steelers 36, Bengals 30 | Odds via Caesars Sportsbook, where new users get 20 100% profit boosts with the code CBS20XSunday, 1 p.m. ET on Fox (Stream: Fubo — try for free)The Packers are coming off a Monday night loss to the Eagles, while the Giants will be playing their first game after coach Brian Daboll was fired. Mike Kafka is the new coach. Green Bay’s offense has been lifeless for the last two weeks. That will change this week. Jordan Love will throw it around to help the Packers win. Pick: Packers 30, Giants 20 | Odds via BetMGM

NFL Week 11, picks and predictions: Rams defeat Seahawks by a score of 58-62, Chiefs edge Broncos with a thriller

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET on Fox (Stream: Fubo — try for free)The Texans should have C.J. Stroud is back to face a Titans squad that has just returned from a bye week. The Titans are struggling offensively, and the Texans have the best defense in football. The Texans defense is No. 1 in the league. That’s trouble. The Titans will win this one in a close game. The Texans will win a close one.Pick: Texans 23, Titans 19 | Odds via DraftKings SportsbookSunday, 1 p.m. ET on CBS (Stream on Paramount+)This is a long trip for the Chargers after a Sunday night game, but they are getting a Jaguars team coming off a demoralizing loss last week to the Texans. How will they react? I expect Justin Herbert to be able to do well against a team who doesn’t rush or excel at coverage. Chargers win it.Pick: Chargers 27, Jaguars 20 | Odds via Caesars SportsbookSunday, 1 p.m. ET on CBS (Stream on Paramount+)This a big game for both teams, but much bigger for the Bills. Last week, they looked terrible in their loss to Miami. Bucs could be playing against a desperate team. Josh Allen didn’t play well last week. Josh Allen will be better in this game. Bills win. Pick: Bills 30, Buccaneers 23 | Odds via FanDuel SportsbookSunday, 4:05 p.m. ET on Fox (Stream: Fubo — try for free)This is the game of the week. Both teams have an excellent chance to be the NFC top seed. Both teams are able to throw deep passes and rush the passer. Matthew Stafford is on fire but the Seattle defense has something special. They will go after him, and the Seahawks’ points will come from the short field created by turnovers. Seattle pulls off an upset.  Pick: Seahawks 24, Rams 23 | Odds via FanDuel SportsbookSunday, 4:05 p.m. ET on Fox (Stream: Fubo — try for free)These two suffered bad losses this past weekend, giving up over 40 points each. The Cardinals are expected to start Jacobybrissett at quarterback again, while the 49ers should have Mac Jones back. Jones will be able to pass to Christian McCaffrey both as a receiver and a runner to help win the game. Pick: 49ers 30, Cardinals 24 | Odds via FanDuel SportsbookSunday, 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS (Stream on Paramount+)The Ravens have come to life with Lamar Jackson back, but they are playing consecutive road games. It doesn’t matter. The Browns are limited offensively, despite a strong defense. Cleveland’s defense will keep it close, and that is a good thing. The Ravens are going to win. Pick: Ravens 22, Browns 16 | Odds via FanDuel SportsbookSunday, 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS (Stream on Paramount+)The Chiefs are coming off a bye and Andy Reid’s teams are great off the bye. The Broncos were rested last week after their game. Bo Nix is struggling in their offense. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ defense will be able to stop him. Pick: Chiefs 23, Broncos 17 | Odds via FanDuel SportsbookDetroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5)Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC (Stream: Fubo — try for free)The Lions are playing consecutive road games, while the Eagles are playing on a short week. It’s like they are equal. The Eagles struggled to score last week, but the Lions did. At home, the Eagles will slow down the Lions while their offense gets going to win.          Pick: Eagles 31, Lions 27 | Odds via DraftKings SportsbookMonday, 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN/ABC (Stream: Fubo — try for free)This is a bad Monday night game, but it features two national teams with a high profile. The networks care about this. The Cowboys improved their defense during the trade deadline. This will help them make progress in the right direction. Dallas’ offense is capable of scoring. Raiders have issues that will once again be evident. Look for the Cowboys to win it behind Dak Prescott.Pick: Cowboys 31, Raiders 20 | Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook
