Barely touched during his marvellous Octagon run, Khabib Nurmagomedov did plant some seeds of doubt in his late father’s mind during a memorable title fight.
Khabib Nurmagomedov was a former lightweight champ in the UFC and shared the ring during his tenure with future Hall of Famers. He emerged unharmed as the gold holder.
Nurmagomedov retired in 2020, after a successful unification of titles. He dedicated his victory against Justin Gaethje (his late coach and father) to Abdulmanap who passed away just a few months before.
Nurmagomedov was a bit nervous when his father watched him during one of the matches he won.
