Vergil Ortiz Jr. successfully defended his interim championship this past Saturday.
Golden Boy Promotions was in Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday for a fight between Vergil Oriz Jr. and Erickson Lubin, the interim WBC Super Welterweight champions.
The 27-year old undefeated fighter was coming off a career best win over Israil Mdrimov on the undercard between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev.
After successfully defending the interim belt against Erickson Lubin this past Saturday, Ortiz Jr. may have to make a big decision about his next bout.
