Ruben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, said that his team had “a lot of issues” after their 2-2 draw with Tottenham. Mattthijs De Ligt’s equaliser in the 96th minute salvaged United a point, extending their unbeaten run of five games to their longest ever under the Portuguese. Amorim, however, was disappointed to see United repeating the mistakes they made last Saturday at Nottingham Forest.
United led the match for almost an hour thanks to Bryan Mbeumo’s header in the first half. However, late goals from Spurs’ substitute Mathys Te and Richarlison – seven minutes apart – turned the game. De Ligt saved a point with his side down one player after Benjamin Sesko’s injuries.

Amorim claimed that United struggled with the situation when he pulled Harry Maguire and Casemiro off less than twenty minutes before the end of the match. I know sometimes people think that our results are showing that we’re improving, but there is still a lot of work to be done.
