David Weir, a former defender from Brighton &Hove Albion’s AMEX Stadium, is the latest employee to join Chelsea. However, this time he will be joining their sister club. Weir left the South Coast club early September following seven years. The 55-year old had held multiple positions at Brighton before advancing to the position of technical director, under Tony Bloom. Facundo buonaotte, Moises caicedo and Robert Sanchez, along with Marc Cucurella have all made the move from Brighton to Chelsea. One X user said: “Utterly embarrassing.” Boehly, BlueCo and the rest of their team are OBSESSED by Brighton! What are the Strasbourg fans doing to your team?
