On Friday, the 2025 World Series begins when the Los Angeles Dodgers face the Toronto Blue Jays. The Dodgers hope to be the first MLB repeat champions in over 25 years. This would also be their third World Series victory since 2020. In contrast, the Blue Jays are trying to win their third championship in franchise history after winning back-to-back titles in 1992-93.
