    The 2026 T20 World Cup concluded with a thumping 96-run win for tournament hosts India over New Zealand, but which players have made the ICC’s Team of the Tournament?Four members of the victorious Indian side have been selected in the ICC’s team announced on Monday, while two England players have been picked after their run to the semi-finals.

    Samson started the tournament on the outside of the India XI but shone with Player of the Match performances against West Indies and England before making the highest individual score in a men’s T20 World Cup final with 89 against New Zealand.

    Bumrah was named Player of the Match in the final as recognition for his super figures of 4-15, helping him finish as the tournament’s joint-leading wicket-taker with 14 from his eight matches.
