2025 Bermuda Championship leaderboard: Adam Schenk claims first PGA Tour victory

Adam Schenk has won the 2025 Bermuda championship by a stroke over Chandler Philips. Schenk won the 2025 Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course by one stroke. He outlasted and outmanoeuvred the field. Schenk, who had been hitting putts using one hand, and retreated from the course due to discomfort with his golf ball during the week, summoned his fortitude and fought through his demons to reach a new level. With his first victory, Schenk secured his playing privileges for the PGA Tour’s next two seasons. The 33 year old began the week at No. The 33-year-old was ranked 134th in the FedEx Cup and at risk of losing his full time status. He had missed fifteen cuts this year, including eight of his last fourteen starts. He was also without a top-20 ranking since The CJ CUP Byron Nelson, back in May. He climbs to No. He could be able to make it into the FedEx Cup’s first two signature events if he can climb up the FedEx Cup rankings and reach the top 60 before the RSM Classic season finale next week.

Schenk stated, “I began to play better golf in the last four month.” “I have always believed in myself a little.” I’ve been working hard. There are so many people I want to thank. I wish my family was here. It’s obvious that I won out of country, and my wife cannot be here.Schenk’s Sunday stroll was anything but easy as the tee-times were moved due to weather conditions. The wind gusts were up to forty mph. Many players had difficulty executing the right golf shot and dealing with Mother Nature’s plans. Schenk however started his day relatively routinely, making eight pars and one birdie on his front nine. The overnight leader, despite the few scoring opportunities, did well to stay in front of his competitors and avoid costly mistakes.

Alex Smalley, along with others, pressed the leader on the course. Smalley reached 11 under, but needed to make three putts on the final hole from about 15 feet away. He dropped down to 10 under. Frankie Capan, III, reached the same 12-under total before losing shots on the 16th par-3 and 17th par-5 to tie for third. Schenk could have made things easier down the stretch but his putter was having other ideas. Schenk, who played the par-5 hole 17th with perfection due to stingers barely getting off the ground and a few putts that barely touched the ground, missed a shot at a birdie that would’ve given him a 2-stroke lead going up to the 72nd.
Schenk only needed to make one final par when Takumi Kanaya’s playing partner made par, and Schenk had parred. As fate would have had it, there would be one final 5-foot tickler. Schenk stepped forward and stroked the beauty. He exorcised his demons, becoming a PGA Tour champion in one swift motion.

“I knew I could win; it was just a matter of executing each shot and handling each situation I put myself in,” Schenk said. “I still can’t believe that it’s all over. “It seemed to be the longest day of my life.”
